Application Procedure

Eligibility

Students currently enrolled in a college/university as well as high school students (over age of 17) with outstanding academic performance.

The documents to be submitted may vary depending on the student's nationality and taking online or in-person class, so please contact us first by e-mail (kuwinter@korea.ac.kr)

 

 

Required Documents

  1. Copy of Academic Transcript of home institution (certified proof of enrollment for freshmen)
  2. Proof of Health Insurance (Any type that covers your stay in Korea)
  3. Copy of Student ID or Passport

If you need Student VISA to enter Korea, please visit VISA & Insurance menu

Step 1

Complete an online application

  • Submit an online application HERE by November 17th
    • Students may choose the course selection on the online application
    • Students must create their KU IWC passwords in order to access their student account (ID, starting with 202395xxxx, will be automatically given).
  • A confirmation email (including the IWC student number) will be sent automatically to the registered email address
Step 2

Pay the application fee (KRW 100,000)
Send the required documents to email (kuwinter@korea.ac.kr) with your Application No.
Step 3

Receive a letter of acceptance
Step 4

Pay the tuition, housing fee and all other remaining fees
Step 5

Enter Korea on date

 

 * If you receive an Exchange Nomination from your school, you may be eligible for exemptions from certain processes. In such cases, please send us an email after submitting your application.
